Forth Housing Association – Housing Officer
Salary: £42,707 – £46,895 (EVH Grade 7, Points PA22–25) + (Essential Car User Allowance)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Location: Stirling (Hybrid Working Available)
Forth Housing Association is a registered social landlord and charity, providing quality homes and services for our tenants. As we continue to grow, develop and enhance our services, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused and organised Housing Officer to join our Housing Services Team in Stirling.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be responsible for delivering a range of high-quality housing management services. This includes managing rent accounts, void properties, housing allocations, tenancies and estates, while providing support, advice and assistance to help tenants sustain their tenancies and enjoy living within their communities.
You’ll take responsibility for an area-based ‘patch’ of our homes, putting tenants at the heart of service delivery and working proactively to ensure high standards are achieved.
We’re looking for someone with strong all-round experience in delivering high-quality housing management services, excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads effectively.

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our voluntary Management Committee and help shape the future of Forth Housing Association and the communities we serve.
Forth Housing Association is a registered Scottish charity and Registered Social Landlord, providing more than 1,000 high-quality, affordable homes across Stirling. Our Management Committee plays an important role in setting our strategic direction, overseeing performance and financial sustainability, and ensuring we continue to deliver excellent services for our tenants and communities.
Who are we looking for?
You don’t need previous housing, board or committee experience to join us. We’re interested in people who are curious, committed, willing to ask thoughtful questions and can bring fresh ideas and perspectives.
We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds, including existing tenants and their households, shared owners, people living in the communities we serve, and those with professional or transferable skills across a wide range of sectors. Most importantly, we’re looking for people who share our values and are passionate about improving homes, services and communities.
What’s involved?
As a Management Committee member, you’ll work alongside fellow members and our senior leadership team to influence key decisions and help shape the future of the Association.
The commitment includes:
- Eight Management Committee meetings each year
- Meetings normally held on Tuesdays, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Attend in person at Forth's offices or remotely via Microsoft Teams
- The option to join a Sub Committee covering Audit & Risk, Staffing or Asset & Development
- An annual strategy planning event and occasional training sessions
- A comprehensive induction, with ongoing training and support
The position is voluntary; however, reasonable out-of-pocket expenses, including travel and childcare costs, will be reimbursed.
