Scottish Child Payment

SCOTTISH CHILD PAYMENT

 Scottish Child Payment is a new benefit which will deliver an additional payment of £10 per week for each eligible child. This is paid in respect of each child under the age of 6 on 15^th February 2020.

To be eligible for this payment you must be living in Scotland and have the main responsibility for a child who is under the age of 6 on 15^th February 2020 and also be in receipt of one of the following:-

• Universal Credit 
• Child Tax Credit 
• Income Support
• Pension Credit
• Working Tax Credit
• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
• Income Related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

Payment will be made 4 weekly with first payment being received after 22^nd February 2020
